The Back Page is where the feet go up on the desk at the end of the day. It’s that good book with a mug of hot cocoa just before bed. It’s where we goof off after a hard day’s work. The Back Page is our blog.

We continue trying

Photography allows us to believe we can own someone’s beauty.  We spend all this time, adjusting the lens, walking around in circles for the best lighting, just for the perfect capture, like we’re out poaching elephants on a safari.   Of course we both know that we can’t hold someone’s beauty in our hands the way we do with car titles.    Yet, we continue trying to shove all of someone’s breathtaking light into a box, not truly certain of what we’ll do next.

No, probably not.
Are you okay with that?
Are we meant to create truth or
Are we meant to find it?
