Where the Mind Sprocket staff writes about inspiration, communication, culture, storytelling, and more.

The Back Page is where the feet go up on the desk at the end of the day. It’s that good book with a mug of hot cocoa just before bed. It’s where we goof off after a hard day’s work. The Back Page is our blog.

Traditionally, we’ve been taught that improvement is a good thing and that being awesome at what we do is important. But geez, that can get old after a while. Thankfully, the Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA) in Boston takes a different approach, displaying and celebrating some of the worst art they can find. What an inspiration they can be to those of us who fail - and that’s all of us!

Their website declares them to be “the world’s only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms.”

This is definitely on my list of places to go before I die.

Sometimes the truth is
Not what you want it to be.
Is it ever what you expected?
No, probably not.
Are you okay with that?
Are we meant to create truth or
Are we meant to find it?
