The Back Page is where the feet go up on the desk at the end of the day. It’s that good book with a mug of hot cocoa just before bed. It’s where we goof off after a hard day’s work. The Back Page is our blog.

Obviously iTunes does a pretty good job of keeping track of how many times you’ve listened to this or that track. And they can even make music recommendations for you based on your purchases from their music store.

But last·fm not only tracks your most played songs, they offer you artist recommendations, concert dates, music videos, and a whole community of music lovers. Similarly to other online social platforms, you can leave messages on friends’ pages and see what they are listening to.

I’ve been a member for two years now (though lacking an internet connection for a few months made it difficult to access the site), but have returned and am enjoying last·fm more than ever. The site is easy to navigate and easy on the eyes (i.e., nothing like MySpace), two things that I can definitely appreciate, as my tolerance for low-quality sites has pretty much gone and left me long ago.

You can also check out their blog.

No, probably not.
Are you okay with that?
Are we meant to create truth or
Are we meant to find it?
