Mind Sprocket is a work in progress. We’re not outlined. We’re not in a box. We’re beta. We’re a growing amoeba with a purpose. There’s one driving factor that’s keeping us all together and it’s the core of what we do.
We want to build real relationships with our readers. We want you to love us or hate us. We want nothing to do with the foggy, mushy in-between. We want to sit down and have a beer with you. Or maybe fight a pitched battle with cardboard rolls.
There’s a lot of good media out there, but a serious disconnect between the authors and publishers and the readers. Because media is business. It’s the creation of stimulation and titillation and influence for the sake of your pocketbook. And when those rare few people come along that really do have something to say, they hire an agent and are sold out by the month’s end.
Creativity becomes a business, reality becomes a category, and truth nothing more than perception.
We are not media. We are not a corporation. We are not idealists or romantics. We are not here to stimulate or titillate you. We are not fake.
We are story tellers. We are truth seekers. We are realists, but also young and foolish and believe in what we do. We are here to challenge ourselves and you and to bust bubbles. We are tenacious and full of life. We are as real as we can be. And we’re going to tell you stories about everything we know that is real.

Emily: Thank you so much! We’re so new to everything we’re doing, and hearing affirmation of our work is really important.
Reaching people, any number of people at all, is the reason we do Mind Sprocket. Thank you for reading; we sincerely appreciate it.
